Clearview Traffic Proud Sponsor Of The Henley Festival Friday 11th July 2008

Clearview Traffic Group LTD are proud to have sponsored the Friday of this years Henley festival of music and the arts at Henley-on-Thames. The main performer of Friday night’s event was famous soprano singer and television star Lesley Garrett CBE. On a night that also featured singer Will Martin, violinist David Garrett and the BBC Concert Orchestra Clearview Traffic’s representatives along with majority share holder and Reading football club chairman John Madejski OBE DL were there to witness the event.

Clearview Traffic is the driving force behind the brands Astucia: traffic safety systems, Golden River: traffic management systems and Count On Us: transportation data collection.

Astucia has developed a high quality range of Intelligent Road Studs [IRS] that provide superior hazard warning to vehicle users on many roads. Many of these studs were used along the towpath of the river Thames at the Henley Festival to provide light and to ensure safety for the many visitors that attended the event. The studs are run on batteries which are powered by solar panels. The panels gain energy from sunlight during the day which then charges the battery. During the night the circuitry switches on a series of light emitting diodes [LEDs] which are visible for up to 1,000 metres lighting up the road to provide an effective hazard warning system.

Golden River has been the predominant specialist highway traffic data system supplier for more than 30 years. Golden River’s products have set the industry standard for high precision and reliable roadside data collection with state of the art yet cost effective traffic monitoring products.

Count On Us is Britain and Ireland’s largest provider of transportation data collection and analysis. Survey data provides critical information on which recommendations or conclusions are established during planning proposals and transportation studies.

At the end of the event the CEO of Clearview Traffic Kevin Adams said that “the company’s participation in the festival was a great success and it was a privilege to be involved in such an important and prestigious event.”
